Our 35 Innovators Under 35 competition for 2022 is now open for nominations. You can nominate good candidates from now until 10 pm EST on January 24, 2022.

We publish a list of young innovators for over two decades now. The list always includes interesting stories of young people working on using technology to make the world a better place, but going forward it’s a way for us to showcase the technologies that are likely to exist. a big role in all of our lives in the years to come.

You may have heard of many of the people we have chosen over the years — Andrew Ng, Helen Greiner, Feng Zhang, Neha Narkhede, Ian Goodfellow, Stephanie Lampkin, Julie Shah, Joy Buolamwini. Many of these great scientists, businessmen, humanitarians, and businessmen list the honor to be chosen prominent in their bios.

What makes you a good candidate for our list of 35 Innovators? We are looking for people who do interesting work in all areas of technology — biotechnology, artificial intelligence, robotics, computing, energy, electronics, software, nanomaterials, and the internet. Sometimes our winners are inventors. Some winners are entrepreneurs who use technology in a new or interesting way, and others work to use technology to correct a social injustice or make life easier. to people in difficult circumstances.

We want to see a certain success. We want to be able to answer questions like: What’s new here? What has this man achieved that has never been done before in this way? How is this person working to solve a major technological problem that can make a huge difference in people’s lives?

Yes, many of our candidates are from elite research universities or large corporations, but that is not necessary. We also want to show inventors, startup promoters, and social activists using technology in creative ways to make a difference in their communities.
