TV Deals

A strange amount of good TVs It went on sale over the weekend, making it a great time to upgrade for the cold weather.

LG’s C1 OLED is the most beautiful TV you’ll find, thanks to onboard organic LED technology, where each pixel acts as its own backlight. That means completely black levels. The TV will produce up to 120 hz refresh rates in 4K, and the shortest input lag means it can easily double as an XXL gaming monitor. The 48 -inch version is also on sale, even if we recommend more, which also sells on Amazon.

The TCL 6-Series is our favorite TV for most people, which is why we recommend this deal even if it is a small discount. Quantum dot technology means a vivid color is bright, the onboard Google TV interface is excellent, and Mini LED backlighting helps provide excellent contrast.

The less expensive 5-Series also has quantum dot technology and Google TV, but it doesn’t have mini LED backlighting which makes the more expensive model have a much better contrast. The price may fall even more on Black Fridays, however it’s not a good year to wait.

Audio Gear

From headphones to soundbars, there are tons of solid deals on our favorite audio equipment this weekend.

The AirPods Pro “sells” for $ 192 for what feels like forever. We found a real discount! This is the best wirefree earbuds for iOS diehards, which is actually a pretty quick cut for the Cupertino company. They were also sold at Walmart.

They are still our favorite sound wireless earbuds on the market, but the release of the Galaxy Buds2 prompts some quick discounts for older Galaxy Buds Pro (9/10, WIRED RECOMMENDATIONS). These buds have better sound, noise cancellation, and appearance than Trunks2.

If you’re having trouble with background noise but you don’t want to drop hundreds more cancellation of headphones from Sony, Apple, and Bose, these noise -canceling headphones from the Jabra are probably the ticket. They’re most comfortable, have excellent battery life, and even can’t avoid water – perfect for a dog day walk.

JLab makes wireless earbuds more expensive, and the Icon Air is well worth their price when it costs twice as much. If you want a pair that you don’t worry too much about, this is a good buy.

Polk’s React soundbar line (8/10, Recommended WIRED) cool, because it allows you to slowly build a modular system. Starting at this $ 199, Alexa -powered centerpiece, then add Polk’s surround speakers and subwoofer for true 5.1 line surround sound. It was also sold on Amazon.

Samsung’s Dolby Atmos Soundby system (8/10, Recommended WIRED) has a lot of bar drivers, plus two surround speakers and a subwoofer. The wireless speaker pairs immediately, requiring you to plug in a power cable, and an HDMI cable into your TV. It was also sold at Walmart. For more options, see our tutorial on Best Soundbars.

PC and Gaming

Now is a good time to hunker down a new gaming headset and monitor, or to upgrade your lighting for video calls.

Many of us are fans of HyperX’s gaming headphones, which have comfortable ear pads and good -sounding microphones. It’s not a very large discount, but still less than $ 100. You can never go wrong with this pair.

This 27-inch gaming monitor has 4K resolution, Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync, which means it will sync perfectly with your graphics card. It also has a beautiful, diamond-shaped design with easy-to-adjust height erected interior.

It doesn’t have the same beautiful design as the HP Omen at the top, but this LG monitor is also great for gaming, with an AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-Sync board. The curved stand at the bottom keeps it strong, but we’ll opt for a better mount if the space is tight on your desk. You can also specially order it at B&H Photo.

The Dell XPS is done one of our favorite laptops for many generations, thanks to its practicality, lightweight design, good screen, and solid battery life. This one comes with a 256 gig solid state drive, 8 gigs ram, and an Intel Core i5. It’s not the fastest laptop ever, but it’s a solid buy for students or those who need something simple for work to walk.

If you want to get into the game, you may need to upgrade your router. We tried and liked it, but check out ours router buying guide for multiple options.
