How to Take a Screenshot on Any Phone or Laptop (iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Chromebook)
Some Android phone makers offer a screenshot scrolling feature that can capture an entire webpage or message thread. They all have different names, but each involves taking a screenshot, after tapping a button when the preview is visible. For example, on a Samsung phone, you have to press the button with two arrows in a box to use Capture scrolling. Huawei has the same option called Scrollshot, LG offers a raised option, and there’s OnePlus Enlarged Screenshot.
If your phone lacks this look, consider preferring a third -party app Screen Master.
How to Take a Screenshot on a Windows PC
To take a screenshot of a Windows laptop or desktop computer, continue Screen Printing keyboard key (usually abbreviated to Si Prt Scn or both). If you want to take a screenshot of the active window, press Alt and Screen Printing keys together. Your captured screenshot is copied to the clipboard automatically, and you need to open Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, or whatever image software you use, to paste it, so you can edit and save it.
If you want to capture a portion of the Windows 10 screen try continuing with Windows, moving On, ug S keys together. You can then click and drag to highlight the bit you want and release to get it. In earlier versions of Windows, you could do the same thing with Snipping Tool, which can be found by clicking Start and typing “Snipping Tool” in the search bar. Once again, the screenshot is copied to your clipboard for you to paste.
To take screenshots and save them automatically, press Windows and Screen Printing keys together. Screenshots will be saved in a folder titled Screenshots of your Photos folder.
How to Take a Screenshot of a Chromebook
To take a screenshot of a Chromebook, continue controlling (usually abbreviated to Ctrl) ug Show Windows (a rectangle with two lines to the right) keys simultaneously.
To capture a portion of the screen, press moving On, controlling, ug Show Windows keys, click and drag to highlight the bit you want, then release to take the screenshot.
The screenshot preview should pop up at the bottom right, and you can copy or annotate it. To see screenshots later, click Launcher button (the circle on the left), then select Files, and click Downloads on the left.
